Thank you all for your continued prayers and words of encouragement. William Matchett Gunn III was born on 2/4/2016 at 2:24PM weighing a whopping 6 lbs and 13 oz. and as you can imagine he is beautiful!
As expected William was taken to the NICU for observation and testing to determine the extent of his kidney issues. We aren’t sure how long he will have to remain in the NICU, but he’s stable and doing well.
A huge praise is that he has been able to breath on his own as his lungs are in very good condition. They will continue to monitor his kidney’s daily to determine what treatment he will need. His next kidney ultrasound will be next week so please continue to pray that we will get a good report. Please specifically pray for increased urine output, his ability to receive feeds and overall good health.
Thank you for being patient and waiting on this update as the doctors needed time to evaluate.
We are so thankful for the blessing of his life and very excited to see how the Lord will use him!
Praying for this handsome angel! Thankful he is breathing on his own. God is keeping him and has given him a wonderful family to support him.
